Systemet blev kaldt for Technirama, og var i sin grundform det samme som VistaVision. Imidlertid havde Technirama en anamorphotisk linse (en slags CinemaScope linse) foran grundobjektivet. Det betød at man kunne optage film med en bred billedvinkel og nedkopiere dette til regular 35mm film. | Læs mere her:

Internet link: | Technirama have en fætter der blev kaldt for "Super Technirama 70" - alting var "Super" i 1960erne. Technocolor tilbød kunderne at forstørre Tecnhiramanegativet til 70mm film, og lægge 6-kanal magnet lyd på.
Odeon Leicester Sq. biografen i London fik installeret Gaumont Kalee maskiner til Technirama.
Technirama forsvandt i slutningen af 1960erne. Walt Disney Pictures anvendte Technirama en sidste gang i 1985, til "The Black Cauldron".

Released in East Germany on February 18th, 1966, was dubbed in German by DEFA. Released in 35mm and CinemaScope.
